Annual Dinner 2007 on board HMS Drake,

The Annual dinner was a great sucess everyone was well turned out,the meal was great, and the speeches were excellent, a special thank you to Captain Mathews for his first visit to the  Plymouth and Cornwall Branch Annual Dinner, and to the Deputy Lord Mayor Brian Vincent, and the Archbishop of Plymouth the right Reverend C Budd has special guest to the Dinner,and our only serving member on the night Sergeant Lee Cochrane, also like to thank ,the officers, Captain the Viscount Falmouth, Major the honoralble R Boscawan PC MC , Colonel HGR Boscawan , Sir Richard Carew-Pole BT OBE , Mr JHG Wolcoombe CBE , Major T Nicholls ,Major N Boggis-Rolfe , Colonel Edward Bolitho , Grenadier Guards, A special thankyou to them all, for making it a great night, And also more thankyou's for the people who made this happen first of all a big thank you to our secretary Keith Harwood for all his hard work in making this happen, and for Martin Axworthy and Chris for getting there early for setting the tables and for the menu cards ,and for the Chairman Mr Norman Tout ,Also the Vice Chairman Mr Kevin Preston for putting on a wonderfull Display of Guards Uniforms and Kit, also for the name cards,and last of all the Plymouth and Cornwall Branch Members and there friends and family, Thankyou all for a great Night,

Message from the webmaster.

Hi all, this is a note to let you know about our Assiocation.Our Branch was formed in 1913 nearly one hundred years ago,which says something for itself.it is a well organized branch and has just under a  hundred members,most of them support us well.we also have associate members,made up of all five Regiments of Foot Guards,Grenadiers Scots,Irish and Welsh Guards,we have two light infantry members, one Devon and Dorset  Pay Corps,29 Artillery comando,and civillian members,without them we would not survive,they contribute well and support us well, and it is a honour that they chose our association to be in and is now there Association aswell as all there families and Friends,A big thank you to all of them .Nearly every event we organize is in aid of the Coldstream Association charity ,and is used to help unfortunate soldiers and families.we also help with other charities like the Poppy Appeal.,Army Benevolent Fund, SSAFA, Ex Servicemans Association, and many others,and they also have supported our Association well.We have also helped with civillian charities like St lukes Hospice.and others and like wise they have helped some of our members and families, and most of all we will continue to serve Her Majesty the Queen and our Country"God bless you mam",and i hope this site will help to persuade other Coldstreamers to join us,and the younger generation to join our famous Regiment  the Coldstream Guards.Motto "Nulli Secundus"which means "Second to none".and last of all i hope you enjoy this site and see what were all about ,thank you for reading this and i will keep this site updated regular,with more photos contacts and and news.                                                                               Many thanks from you webmaster
